martin smith's short film 'tracks' starring david macneil, ryan wallace, tony martin, john cowan and paul stewart has won the BAFTA Scotland Award for 'Best Short Film'. This is in addition to its 'Best UK Film' nomination at the raindance film festival. the project was commissioned by digicult with funding through the uk film council, scottish screen and gmac. martin was excited to shoot the project with la belle allee productions karen m smyth, hamilton & crawford casting director kahleen crawford and with award winning director of photography tom townend in the spring of 2006. sound was by chris campion and post production took place at la belle allee and the base. martin edited the film himself on final cut pro. martin would like to thank all the cast and crew for their amazing contributions. full cast, crew and facilities credits can be viewed here. |
