22.12.06 martin has been selected to join the cinema extreme talent pool. the scheme, run by the uk film council's new cinema fund and filmfour, will develop one of martin's short film ideas.

13.11.06 martin's short film 'tracks' has won the russell hunter award for 'best short film' at the BAFTA Scotland Awards 2006. the award was presented by una mclean at the city halls, glasgow. the ceremony is on bbc1 on the 13th november at 10.35pm.

28.10.06 'tracks' has been officially selected for competition at the leeds, bilbao and encounters international film festivals. It screens in the 'best of uk shorts' at leeds on the 11th november. it is in the uk film council 'digital generation' screening on the 24th november at encounters and it will screen in the 'international competition' section in bilbao from the 27th november - 2nd december.
