Martin Smith's first commissioned short film is ACCIDENTS and stars Ryan Wallace, Kate Dickie and Julie Wilson.
Martin was delighted to shoot the project with long term collaborator and award winning director of photography Simon Dennis, Sugar Tree Productions Nicki Young and casting director Kahleen Crawford. Sound was by Rob Anderson and post production took place at Arc Facilitles, Savalas, One Post and Soho Images. Martin edited the film himself and the colourist is another long term collaborator, One Post's Simone Grattarola.
It is the simple story of an outsider boy who meets a girl and centres around a small moment that makes their lives seem better.
The project was awarded lottery funding through Scottish Screen and has been selected by the British Council for international film festival distribution.
